Open Door Kyabram is a doorway for people to understand God’s purpose for them.
God loves us immensely and wants us to know and experience his beautiful plan for us,
one that gives us hope in our crazy world.
We would love you to discover the person of Jesus through what he said (in the Bible),
by talking to him (in prayer) and through an Alpha group.
Open Door Kyabram is a ministry of Community Church Kyabram and operates at
various times in the afternoons and evenings. We use the space at Bright Hope
Books, 245 Allan St (next to the Plaza Theatre entrance).
We are open when you see the sign out the front.
So, please come in and chat, read the bible with us, allow us to pray for your needs
and consider joining an Alpha group as advertised.

Explore Life, Faith and Meaning.
Alpha is a free, 11-Session course; designed for discussing and exploring life from a Christian perspective.
The course takes place in a small group (6-12 people) and involves a brief video, a good discussion and a cuppa with something to eat.
Everyone is welcome. Alpha isn't a place where you need to have all the answers, but where you can express your own thoughts and there are no wrong answers.

The Bible is God’s primary method of communicating with us. The words of Jesus have had a profound impact on billions of lives throughout history. Today there are more followers of Jesus than any other religion.
So, what did Jesus say that is so transformational? Why not come through the door and find out for yourself. We offer the opportunity to read together the words of Jesus, and other parts of the Bible, so that you can discover purpose and hope for the future.
As we read a small portion from the bible together and chat about it in a relaxed atmosphere for 20min, you will want to come back for more!

When we pray to God, the creator of heaven and earth, we are asking God to act on your behalf.
God not only has all-power, but he is also all-knowing, gracious and compassionate.
His love knows no bounds. He loves you and cares for your every hurt, need, and worry.
We would love to pray for you in a confidential and caring way. You may need physical healing. You may have many worries and cares. You may be fearful and need God’s peace, or you may simply need hope in a hopeless situation.
We are gentle and experienced in listening and being empathetic.
Jesus said, “Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.”
